Photo credits @ Sid-The Wanderer A FACE CAN A THOUSAND STORIES TELL A face can a thousand stories tell Of chapters penned in heaven or hell Of places treaded by the feet Solemn battles or loud defeats Like shadows cast by open skies A crease for every fall and rise Till the last sigh! A million faces come undone So much despair in the hidden one Search a visage of floating seas Therein lies a child so free Willing to cast pretence aside And sway along the heaving tides To savour the ride. Many faces in the parade How long will last the masquerade The lane is long and cramped with signs I see your face, I break the line And run behind a child so sweet So pure and rid of all deceit A chimera of me? One cloudy day, with a fair-weather friend A crowded country fair I went And chanced upon humanity No show of ugly vanity A motley mass of miens galore Of tru
